Dexter and Jackson went home Wednesday night. Mommy cried. Yesterday, she and Daddy had to go present shopping and food shopping for the belated Mothers Day/80th Birthday Family party/dinner on Monday and the 2 graduations (kindergarten for Dex and Jackson's human and high school for another) They also saw Star Trek Into Darkness. Today Mommy was a fireball! She lugged 2 humongous plants from the great room under the sky lights to the courtyard outside....its a wounder her guts are still inside. BOL! Then she moved furniture and swept the utility room and the kitche and mopped the entire kitchen! She made a homemade Apple Strudel and supper! Ran the dishwasher and put away the dishes and cleaned out under the stove! Me and Maya are exhausted from watching and supervising. Even Princess followed her around. The kick plate for the central vacuum didn't even scare her off! Gotta go. I need rest Tomorrow we do the great room and the dining room....Whew! Love ya! ~~ Hugs, Chewie

Melian (In Memory of Tiny) How are you doing? I'm so sorry it's been so long since I've written properly. I told mama that she hadn't written since before her birthday and she was shocked! Oh my, we haven't even thanked everyone for their kind birthday wishes. ______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Well, what is our excuse? Apart from mere laziness we have actually been very busy. And by the time we get to the computer late at night mama just does a bit of voting and any computer work that's been waiting. Plus, I do have to admit that she was sick for over three months with one bout after another of various colds, sinus infections, and flus. Lame excuse, I know. ______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ So, thank you very much for stopping by with greetings for mama's birthday. And thank you also for your concern for my chihuahua sister, Mouse. She's still having issues with her congestive heart failure and we keep having to up her dosage of lasix. And that is not a good thing. ______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ My BIG brother, Eddie the horse, is doing tons better now. He's perky again and has a bounce in his step. And he's back to loving his food. On Sunday we drove him 8 miles. I ran alongside and went about 16 miles. Pippin ran alongside the bike. Pippin is a real trooper having a cart horse as a sparring partner. ______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ It's good to be back but I won't promise anything about keeping up with my blogs. Keshia Hi! Casey! When it warms up I will have to look all over my yard because the squirrels are missing - have not seen them since the end of Jan. wonder if they are in a big snow bank or maybe they starved or froze over the winter. They always hide peanuts in the grass or the plant pots but these things are under three/four feet of snow. Happy Easter!
