How We Met?
God brought us together because He knew we needed each other! We were living in an apartment that required dogs that were housebroken, at least one year old, and under 25 lbs. After doing extensive research, we settled on adopting an adult Sheltie. None of the Sheltie rescue groups in our region would adopt out a dog to us because we did not have a fenced yard, and we couldn't find a Sheltie in any of the local animal shelters, so we posted an ad on Petfinders.com. Within days, a humane shelter in a rural area about 150 miles away contacted us, and we adopted him from there. As it turned out, our dog was quite sick, and we nursed him back to health. He has returned the favor by being a faithful, affectionate companion.
