CLUB DOG MEMBER SINCE: December 6, 2009
Sorry my computer activities are limited due to health problems. I do miss my DC friends! Bandit & Bindi are fine. Bandit goes to the walking track with our family. Bandit loves to jog. He jogs with our family members around the track. (or should I say Bandit pulls them around the track) When Bandit sees me he wants to be with me, then he expects me to jog. I can not hold onto him and jog because when he pulls my wrist hurt. I am looking for a harness because I think it will be comfortable for Bandit. I have seen some harenesses, but they look like they will be easy to break. Have a Blessed weekend.

Bandit was the runt of my brother's 2012 Siberian Husky litter. Bindi was from my brother's 2008 Jack Russell Terrier litter.
Shotgun♥ missing my sweet friend Franki Hi Bandit & Bindi, I'm having a pretty good day. I went to the Vet and got my nails cut. Dr. Owen said I can resume my walks but only for 15 min. at a time. Ginger #74386 Have a Super Day! Mom has a lot to do today, so only a quick Hi and hope perhaps to visit more on Monday. No pet adoption, so Zeus, our foster kitty, will have a relaxing day and week ahead. He doesn't expect to leave here anyway. Tomorrow mom is going to a buffet lunch for Mothers Day at a very nice place that we are told does it right! No take out on those???? Oh No!!!

Regis ~ 116698 Hi Bandit & Bindi, Happy Thursday. >>>>> The Robin came back and laid another egg this morning. The egg was still there when mom came home for lunch so she hung the owl next to the nest. When she got home from work, the egg was still there so the owl kept the sparrows away. She took down the owl but hasn't seen the Robin come back yet. So we will have to wait and see if the egg is still there in the morning and if the Robin comes back to lay another egg. Keep your paws crossed that the robins come back and the sparrows stay away. >>>>>> Rainy wet day for us with the possibility of strong storms overnight. Not much else going on here. Regis ~ 116698 Hi Bandit & Bindi, Yay, we're back. We had internet problems that frustrate mom to no end. Our internet kept disconnecting. Mom would have to reset the modem multiple times every day. Mom was really getting frustrated with the cable company but they kept saying it wasn't their fault. Turns out they were right. It was our Norton Antivirus that was disconnecting us. Our Norton subscription was up and mom didn't renew it because she already had a year of free Webroot that whe wanted to use. So when she uninstalled Norton and installed Webroot, all of our internet problems went away. >>>>>>>>>>> Money, Abbie and Pooh are all doing well. As for myself, I've been battling a bad staff infection on my skin. I was on antibiotics for 2 weeks but it can right back so I had to go on antibiotics for another 4 weeks before it cleared up. The good news about the skin infection is that I was eating the same dry dog food as the other dogs but now mom is back to cooking for me. Because of my Addison's, I will always be proe to infections but I seem to be alot healthier when mom cooks for me. Must be all of the LOVE that she puts in it. Today I went to the vet to get my monthly Addison's injection. I am so used to getting them that I don't even notice anymore. BBS. Regis & MisFits

We're bringing you some nice soppy hugs and a dripping wet vote. Yes, we're actually getting some spring weather! It's been raining non stop today. Been a while since we've heard this sound! Besides a little puddle jumping in the yard, we've spent the day snoozing inside by the fireplace.....We uploaded some snuggle photos :) The orange and white kitty is one of our three quirky feline siblings. Nacho Dog♦ Hi Bandit! Pawed a vote. Glad to hear everything is doing well. I know what you're talking about when you say huskies pull! We used to use nose harnesses called a Halti because dogs can't pull very hard from their nose. Have a cheese-tastic day & I hope you feel better! Nacho Cheese : )

♥ Sheba ♥ My sister got something for her dog called Halti Head Collar and it works great! Another one to consider would be Gentle Leader harness. Both go on the dog's head & muzzle area making the dog not want to pull. Good Luck! I hope you find something that works. Have a great day!... more
♦ The Mud Dogs ♦ Or since Bandit loves to pull so much, why don't you teach him to use his instinctual "job" to good use. Like weight-pulling or skijoring, or if your good with skates you can have home pull you those. Huskies can run till they cause injury to themselves so use this love to run to good use!! If you have a bike you can attach him to there and go "running" (Bol, bandit you'll be the one running :) but make sure you control his head to lead him. But also of course you have to know bandits limits. Since he is a dog his mind set will be to run run run...even when he might be ready to pass out. So you as the pack leader needs to know when he is finished. Then after the run you won't need a harness; he will be so tired he will walk right beside you if the leash is at the highest part of the neck. Hope this helps!... more
• : • : • Yukon & Peaka • : • : • Anybody know what happened to our friends Angus the Airedale Terrier & family? ~:♦:~ Hi B&B! ~:♦:~ What have you two been up to? Mess ya! Mom's practice driving is going Grrrreat! She's just loving it. Her brother has been looking for his perfect first dog for a long while. We want to get the right one, so it's taken some time. We thought we found it at our local Nikiski Animal Sanctuary. He was an adorable lab mix named Chachi. Very, very sweet! Before bringing him home, Mom and her bro took him to a few different places. First to get a bath at the self dog wash. He acted calm and was extremely well-behaved. They just fell in love with him, but when we got home we saw a different side of him. He chased our cats in hunting mode and went after our bunnies & gerbils like crazy. We kept him for several days and tried to make it work, but his prey drive was just too strong. We have A LOT of smaller critters at our place, from chickens & mini goats to pet mice. We were very sad that it didn't work out with Chachi, but we know it would be a smoother ride for everyone if we started out with a critter-friendlier dog. The family is just spoiled by the two of us.....he,he.....and they have high expectations on the third canine to the park. So we'll keep looking for the missing member of our trio. Meanwhile Chachi will be having a ball at the awesome animal sanctuary, where he has lots of doggy friends and a loving home environment. We posted a couple pics of Chachi & Peaka sleeping together.....Talk about twins! Here's a sunny vote for you and wishes for a fun-filled Friday!
