How We Met?
In February of 09' We had found her on our street, we had asked around, and posted her missing to try and find her home, with no collar, no chip.Neighboors said she was roaming for about a week through our neighborhood. My boyfriend and I decided to take her home as a new addition to the family. She was an exciting new responsibilty for us as a couple. A fe months later, Kia had gotten sick and been diagnosed with Parvo, and estimated a 50/50 chance to live only with surgery. Though money was tight, we decided that there is no price you can put on a life, so we continued to follow through.After about 4 weeks, Kia had been cured of the disease and became her normal self again. This experience was a major incident that grew the bond between us three. From there, taking her to the Dog Park for the first time, teaching her how to climb stairs, and to swim, Every step along the way has been a challenge that we are blessed to have in our lives.
