Our grammy's two Yorkies, Rosie and T-Bone, had a second litter of puppies. I was not sure if I would be able to take on the responsibility of two little dogs, but I knew that I really wanted to have a little girl. I had asked our grammy to name one of the pups Mia (just in case I ended up getting one!) When Mia was about seven weeks old, she was purchased by a Spanish family as a wedding present for their daughter. The woman's daughter did not want Mia because they knew she would probably turn in to a hyper but fragile little girl. So Mia was returned to our grammy. Upon hearing this, I was ecstatic. I would be able to get a pup after all! A week later, Mia was sent to Philadelphia via airplane. This time though, she came down WITH our Grammy. She slept peacefully the whole ride home and I knew in my heart that I had picked the best of the bunch! Mia is my heart and soul and we will never be separated.

It is Day 17 and let's get this show on the road............. ~~~** Here's the topic I promised you.....**~~~ ~~ The BEST Dog Movies You May Not Be Watching ~~ I am SO EXCITED to tell you about the next movie on my list. It's one of my absolute favorite dog films and the name of this movie is " A Dog Named Christmas ". A Dog Named Christmas is a Hallmark Hall of Fame tv movie that stars Bruce Greenwood (Star Trek) as the father of a developmentally challenged young man that has a wonderfully strong desire to care for animals in need. This young man sets out to convince his family and the whole rural community to participate in a local shelter's inaugural "Adopt a Dog for Christmas Program". It is a very heartwarming story that I can't see any dog person not liking. It is a difficult movie to find for purchase and your best bet is Amazon or the Hallmark Channel Movies Website. I don't know if anyplace else has it for sale or if it is available to rent, but if you can get your hands on a copy of this movie, PLEASE do so and watch it.
