Kennel Club Books, LLC, a division of Bowtie, Inc., specializes in the publication of dog books, including breed books for the novice and experienced dog owner and training books. Established in 2003, Kennel Club Books has produced over 175 individual titles in our Comprehensive Owners Guide™ series, a couple of dozen titles in our Breeders Best™ primer series and many well-received guides in our Positive-Training Series™.
Among the authors featured in Kennel Club Bookss series are award-winning Dog Writers of America members as well as preeminent veterinarians, behaviorists and dog trainers. Each book is photographed in color, utilizing professional images of each breed, many specially commissioned for the specific book.
The Comprehensive Owners Guide™ series of breed books was created with the pet owner and breed enthusiast in mind. Designed by an experienced team of dog authors, editors, vets and trainers, these books include discussions of the following topics: breed origin and history, breed characteristics and requirements, puppy selection, obedience training and housebreaking, the illustrated breed standard, everyday care (grooming, feeding, exercise and more), senior-dog care, parasite control, skin problems, allergies and canine behavior.
