Small Dog Breeds

Tight on space in a condo or apartment, limited by weight restrictions, or just enjoy a smaller companion? Search our list of small breeds to find a dog that is just your size. Not too big, not too small, medium dogs are just right for an owner who wants a dog with a little more substance without tipping the scales. Ranging from 20-60 lbs, these sturdy and reliable breeds like the Australian Shepherd, the French Bulldog and the American Pit Bull Terrier, are not going to fit in your purse, but you still might be able to pick them up. Large Dog Breeds

These large breeds require a bit more space to stretch their legs or even just to turn around. Typically requiring outdoor space or regular walks, a large breed requires an owner who is willing to handle big energy and bigger poop.
