I use a mix of both methods for my dog, Bolt. I dissagree with ignoring our dog's bad behavior. I think this because we ignore our dogs alot but that doesn't mean that their behavior is bad. Dogs can get really confused with things like that. By the way, leave a comment on my dog, Bolt's page and I will leave 2 free training tips; as a comment on your page. This is part of my campain for dog of the month.
Visit Bolt's page and vote him for Dog Of the Month

I honestly think that dominance based training is the better way to go. It applies to the dog's natural instincts. Positive Reinforcement is also effective, but you won't always be carrying a clicker around or have a treat in your pocket to reward.
