Follow your exam with a thorough brushing, the easiest and most pleasurable part of Rottweiler grooming. Use a rubber curry comb or a hound glove to loosen dead hairs, then finish with a firm bristle brush for neatness and gloss.
Rottweiler shedding is subtle and easily controlled by regular brushing. The double coat is easy to care for, although the undercoat grows thicker and more profuse on outdoor dogs.
No need to bathe your Rottie unless he gets into something smelly or dirty. His skin and coat virtually take care of themselves.
