Overcome your Rottweiler's grooming apprehension with quick tips to routine.

  • Follow your exam with a thorough brushing, the easiest and most pleasurable part of Rottweiler grooming. Use a rubber curry comb or a hound glove to loosen dead hairs, then finish with a firm bristle brush for neatness and gloss.

  • Rottweiler shedding is subtle and easily controlled by regular brushing. The double coat is easy to care for, although the undercoat grows thicker and more profuse on outdoor dogs.

  • No need to bathe your Rottie unless he gets into something smelly or dirty. His skin and coat virtually take care of themselves.
