The October article on stray dogs was informative & helpful, especially if you live in an area that actually HAS animal control. We live in rural TN & there is NO animal control so would have appreciated more info on what to do besides call animal control!! We have rescued 1 dog, 2 puppies, 1 cat and 4 orphaned kittens since moving from an urban area where there were very FEW strays & many rescue groups. The local community is trying to form an animal control. Perhaps info on doing so would be a good future article! One of the biggest problems is the dumping of animals. Trust me, there aren't enough people to take in these unwanted pets so they starve, die of disease or injury, are killed by coyotes or worse. Packs of dogs are dangerous, too, posing a danger to people and livestock.

How much do does it cost? I think it will be fun and I can see whatz in it.
