When Lynn K. discovered that her husband and son had developed an allergy to dogs, she feared she would never keep canine companions again — until she encountered her first American Hairless Terrier. When Lynn met Harry, her first AHT, she knew this breed would be a perfect fit.
“I picked him up as a tiny little puppy, handed him to my husband, and said, ‘Breathe in,’” recalls Lynn, a fancier in Canada. “He handled it! Both he and my son could handle being around an American Hairless and hold him without any allergic reaction.”
