The Cavalier King Charles Spaniel captures your heart and he never lets go.

A perfect day for the seven Eckersley Cavaliers starts with rolling out of bed – the people bed, of course – gulping down breakfast, checking out the yard for squirrels, chipmunks, and birds to chase, then lounging on the sofa, preferably in a lap, and dreaming of the next meal.
That's how C. Anne Eckersley's Cavalier King Charles Spaniels spend their days, and they're not much different from other Cavaliers in those respects. The Cavalier attitude is, "Who can I get to pet me, and who will prepare and serve my next meal?" says Eckersley, who lives in Connecticut and breeds and shows her own dogs.
