For 4-year-old champion MoJazz, evenings with his family begin with a charge around the house to make sure all is in order, a quick game of toss-a-toy, and then a contented settling down in the doorway with his back to his people.
“Whatever room we’re in, he’s there in the doorway, keeping watch,” says owner Kathy Beliew, a 36-year Chow breeder in California. “Chows are intelligent, loyal guardians, and companions who are completely devoted to their loved ones.”
