Dandie Dinmont Terrier
A comical dog, the Dandie is always good company.
Good to Know
If your Dandie acts down in the dumps, watch him closely, and be prepared to call your veterinarian. These stoic dogs don’t let on that they feel sick unless they’re really sick.
A Breeder calls Dandies dandy because:
“They’re small but sturdy, and they don’t shed. They make you feel good; you just look at those big brown eyes, smile, and say, ‘Today’s going to be a good day.’”
Norma Ryan lives in Bel Air, Md., and has bred Dandies for 30 years.
