The answer depends on who you ask.
Tammy M. remembers the day that Bruce, her French Bulldog, got high on kibble.
“A couple of months after moving Bruce to a no-carb raw diet, I was short on food and gave him a meal of his former kibble that was still around,” says Tammy of Georgia. “My Frenchie put on his jet pack and zoomed around the house like he had just eaten six bowls of Lucky Charms and a handful of Twinkies.”
Just as the Atkins Diet was all the rage for protein-obsessed humans several years ago, doggie diets that eliminate carbohydrates are becoming of interest to some dog owners.
