Shorthaired, athletic, highly intelligent Doberman Pinscher seeks confident and loving human pack leader. They want an intense relationship.”
Strong family lineage
Louis Dobermann created the breed for just such intensity in Germany during the early 1900s. The tax collector wanted a medium-sized companion and guard dog. “Dobermans know how to protect without being trained to do so,” says Maggie C. of California, co-chair of Doberman Pinscher Club of America rescue.
