The full-bodied Dogue de Bordeaux hits just the right balance of tough and sweet.

No one would want to mess with Bailey. At first glance, this Dogue de Bordeaux’s massive head, serious expression, enormous jowls, and athletic build would make any stranger think twice about entering her home.
But that’s not Bailey’s thing. This girl just wants to have fun.
And for Bailey, fun comes in the form of frolicking with breeder Matt Ivy’s children in their Mesquite, Texas, backyard. “One really fun thing to watch is Bailey actually romping around, jumping with my 10- and 11-year-old sons when they all play on the trampoline,” Ivy says.
