What to expect from a dog camp, besides a tail-wagging good time.

Laura P. of Pennsylvania and her 8-year-old Beagle Toby may be adults, but they adore summer camp as much as any school-age kid. And no wonder. Camp Gone to the Dogs in Vermont offers the pair a canine-inclusive escape with a mind-boggling array of activities to try, from dog sports like agility and flyball to classes in freestyle dancing and drill team.

“Tracking is our favorite,” Laura says. “We haven’t had luck finding a tracking club in [our city], so we go to camp and take tracking every day. We do it for fun, and I want to keep it that way. One of the things we love about camp is it’s fun!”
