Like a good marriage, a happy veterinarian-client relationship is built on solid communication, trust, and mutual respect. To find a great vet, get personal referrals for good ones in your area and check out one or two. Is their staff helpful and friendly? The office clean and orderly? Does the vet interact easily with you and your puppy? What non-medical services (such as grooming or boarding) does the practice offer?
