Proper planning can keep your international travels stress- and hassle-free.
Now that travel season is in full swing, you may be toying with the idea of taking your dog along to Europe, Canada, or somewhere farther afield. But if you’ve never traveled internationally with your dog, you may wonder where to start.
International travel takes more preparation than a domestic road trip. Each country has its own pet regulations, some as simple as presenting proof of rabies and recent vaccinations. On the other hand, Australia for instance, requires a minimum 30-day quarantine of pets traveling from the United States.
