Gator keeps an eye on the bathroom door. Usually, his owner Sue L. remembers to keep it closed, but as soon as she leaves it open, the clever American Water Spaniel sneaks in to play his favorite game: chew the toilet paper roll.
"One time, it dawned on me that I might have left the door open," Sue says. "I called Gator, and he came out looking ever so innocent with a piece of toilet paper hanging from his lip and another stuck to his foot. If you want to keep an American Water Spaniel out of trouble, you had better keep him busy."
