At last, the mystery of the missing socks is solved! Every time Leonard Reppond folds his laundry, he discovers one or two socks missing from their mates. We’ve all been there, but Reppond has finally figured out where all those socks go … not to some alternative universe, not to some laundry room in the sky. “Inevitably, I do a little bit of research and discover that Cozy has stolen them,” says Reppond, a Maltese breeder and dog show judge who lives in San Leandro, Calif. “I always find the missing socks in her bed.”
