Bailey has been busy these past eight weeks, which means his humans, Dorsey H. and his wife, Nada, of Arizona, have been even busier. Before their new Australian Shepherd pup bounced through the door, the retired couple jumped into action: puppy-proofing, acquiring a crate, and boning up on training. Then came Bailey — a chewing, piddling, whirlwind 3-month-old puppy — and the real work began.

“We knew we needed to spend lots of time with Bailey to keep him active and entertained,” Dorsey says. “We also wanted to try crate training and socialize him well. Cody, our Border Collie, went everywhere with us, and we wanted this puppy to do the same.”
