DogTown USA® Cyber Central

Read about America's dog-friendliest towns from years past and enter your town in the 2010 contest.

Every year, DOG FANCY asks its readers to nominate America’s most dog-friendly cities. The editors then research each city to the name the winner based on the presence of dog-friendly activities, restaurants and businesses, dog parks, medical specialists, pro-dog legislation, and other criteria.

Congratulations to California cities San Diego, Huntington Beach, and Carmel-by-the-Sea, the winners of DogTown USA 2009! Read the full story in the September 2009 issue of DOG FANCY.

We love your show and would love to come out for a visit sometime and have even contemplated possible adoption of another lab.We had to put our beloved Black Lab of 13 years, Tasha to sleep approximately 3 years ago and due to our special vet we were able to be with her before, during and afterwards; in a special room specifically designed for this purpose. We miss her very much!!! There is a shrine in our bedroom and a candle is lit every Saturday in her memory. She was a treasured member of our family!!! I continue to find a piece of her hair from time to time which along with her ashes, photos, plaster paw print and memories keeps her always close to us.SHE LEFT A BEAUTIFUL PAW PRINT IN OUR HEARTS4EVER!

This is a cool contest. I can only wish for a dog park, let alone a dog bakery and restaurants that allow dogs. I guess I need to move to California -LOL.
