Three-year-old Bruiser was at Cathy Combs’ side when she opened the barn door. Her attention was on neither her Thai Ridgeback Dog nor the ground when she was suddenly shoved out of the doorway and into the field. “Bruiser!” she cried. “What do you think you’re doing?” That’s when she heard the distinctive rattle.
"Bruiser saw the danger and used his body to push us bothout of the rattlesnake's way," recounts the Dry Ridge, Ky., resident and treasurer of the American Thai Ridgeback Owners & Fanciers Association.
