At 6 a.m., most of us are cupping our hands around a steaming mug of coffee, the very definition of “bleary eyed.”
But out on her six-plus acres in Columbia, N.J., Laurie Bowen is tossing Frisbees.
Crack-of-dawn disc-tossing isn’t just the way Bowen starts her day. It’s the way she continues and eventually ends it, taking as many as 20 breaks from her stay-at-home job to send the Frisbee flying — all at the behest of her three Border Collies.
