I just wanted to let you know what an awesome job you’re doing. DFK is the best magazine for kids about their dogs! In the December/January issue, the article “Snow Much Fun!” was really interesting. The “Indoor Winder Games” was amazing! I will most definitely try the Hot or Cold Treasure Hunt!!! Keep up the fantastic job!
P.S. Can’t wait for the next issue!!!

Sometimes when I do agility with my dog Bandit, he runs out of the ring if I don’t have treats. When I do have treats he stays with me. I want to congratulate Bandit for winning first and second place in a 4-H dog agility competition at the Marshfield Fair!

I love you guys! My favorite things in Dogs for Kids magazine are Cool Jobs, the Toy Box, the fun activities to do with your dogs and hearing from other readers. I have five dogs at home. There's Tinker, our Dachshund/Jack Russell/Pit Bull mix; Noah, our Pembroke Welsh Corgi; Ickie, our Golden Retriever/Collie mix; Gertrude, our Rottweiler; and last but not least, Chili, our Golden Retriever. Every chance we get, we try the fun activities together!

My dog is so funny! He makes me laugh out loud. He will put his paw on your hand when you pet him. I love this magazine! It’s my fav! I love all the parts (especially the posters).

I am crazy about dogs! The stories in your magazine are amazing, funny and educational. Your puzzles are challenging and your posters are so cute! P.S. I have a black Labrador named Annie. She’s 1½ years old.

In the December/January 2008 issue, I read that grapes and raisins are toxic to dogs. I never knew that! Thank you so much for putting that in the magazine. I definitely am happy you did!

Thank you for the article “Say Your Prayers” (Tricks for Treats, June/July). I have a Cockapoo named Molly who loves learning new tricks--as long as she gets her payment: treats! I am in the process of teaching her to pray and I have taught her other tricks from Dogs for Kids in the past. Once Molly masters pray, she’ll know 21 commands/tricks! Thanks for the fun and easy-to-teach tricks!

Sometimes is gets a little crazy at my house. I have five dogs! They are all unique in their own way. They are so sweet and they do silly things when they get bored. When I am sad, they are there to cheer me up. When I am happy, they are there to share my joy! They are the best and I love them so much!

I loved the article “5 Amazing Dog Heroes” (June/July). All dogs are almost perfect, but those dogs were exceptionally amazing! I love reading stories about dog heroes.

Me and my dog Milo love your magazine, Dogs for Kids. It gives us something to do. Milo and I love to spend time together: we sleep together, we read together and we read your magazine together. Milo is my hero. He’s a mutt and has Collie, spaniel and terrier in him. He’s a gentle giant. He also helped me though a rough patch in my life. I can’t wait until your next magazine!

I really love my black Lab, Midnight. She is so cute! She’s very energetic and playful and loves to meet new people. People really like her because she’s so nice. Her only problem is listening. She only listens when she wants to and it’s even worse when a lot of people or other dogs are around!

My dog, Princess, is SO awesome. She’s an Australian Shepherd. She loves your magazine and so do I! Princess loves to play soccer. She has a husband named Timber (we got him when he was 2 years old).

I enjoy reading all of your articles in your magazine. My favorite one was the Holiday Gift Guide from your December/January issue. I had no idea what to get for my dog, but after I read that I had a better idea of what to get him and where to get it. Thank you Dogs for Kids!

I couldn’t decide what I liked best in your June/July 2007 issue. I love dogs and this is my first time reading your magazine. I couldn’t decide because I loved EVERYTHING in Dogs for Kids! I really liked the article about “Hurricane Helpers” and “Cool Jobs: Dog Physical Therapist.” Thanks for a GREAT magazine!

I have a Yorkshire Terrier named Cricket. She’s 3 years old and I do agility with her. I’m the youngest person at the club. I’ve been doing it for a year now and I really enjoy it.

My favorite article had something to do with “Ommmmm.” “The Zen Dog” (from the December/January issue) article was cool because I learned that dogs can actually meditate! Another cool thing is that dogs even have their own special name when they participate in doga. The article was exciting and I might even try doga with my very own dog.

I’m writing to let you know how much I love your magazine. I love animals, especially dogs. One of my favorite sections is “Tricks for Treats.” My dog, Brandy, learned spin and circle. She’s really good at it. “Cool Jobs: Veterinarian” (December/January) helped me learn more about being a vet. I also like reading the Crazy Dog page. I love the recipes. Brandy is very crazy. If you yell, “squirrel” she will run to the back door and bark crazily thinking there’s a squirrel in “her” territory. If you yell, “Who’s there?” she will go to the front door and bark thinking someone is there. Keep making issues, I just love them.
