A group of Dalmatian breeders working under the name “Coalition for Healthier Dalmatians” is planning to petition the American Kennel Club to lift the hold on the registration of the descendants of the Dalmatian/Pointer backcross done in the early 1970s. Included at the link below is a full explanation of this subject and the petition that will be taken to AKC. The group has a goal of 1500 signatures by May 15, 2009.
