The Nominating Committee for the 2008 Winkies™ for Annual Achievement

The Nominating Committee for the 2008 Winkies™ for Annual Achievement is made up of active, experienced participants in the sport of purebred dogs. Based on written criteria provided to the committee, which will appear in the November issue of Dogs in Review, our committee will select five nominees in each of the following categories:

• SHOW OF THE YEAR
• JUDGE OF THE YEAR
• BEST PROFESSIONAL HANDLER
• BEST OWNER-HANDLER
• OUTSTANDING BREEDER

The nominees will be published in the October issue of Dogs in Review, with more in-depth information about each nominee in the November issue and the official voting ballot in the December issue. This ballot is for the use of our subscribers and readers to vote for their choices in each category. The results of the vote will be held secret until announced at the Showdogs of the Year Awards dinner to be held in New York City prior to Westminster in February, 2009.
