About a year ago, my fiance’s father, Steve, asked me for some breed advice. He and his wife Sandy were looking to add a dog to the family and wanted to make an informed decision. After Steve and Sandy outlined their preferences, I suggested one of my favorite breeds, the Standard Poodle.
They did their research and located a reputable breeder who didn’t live too far away. After a trip to meet the breeder and visit with the available puppies, Steve and Sandy brought Molly home.
Over the past year, Molly has blossomed from a sweet and gangly puppy to an energetic and intelligent dog. She enjoys hiking trips in the mountains, is honing her obedidence skills and even dabbles in agility.
Every time I see Molly she looks more elegant and refined, but one thing has remained the same since day one: When you look into her eyes, you always see love shining back out.
