Former Spice Girl Geri Halliwell was barking mad last week when her posh London gym asked her to leave after she tethered her dog to a treadmill she was using.
Witnesses told The Sun that Halliwell, known as Ginger Spice in her pop music heyday, was running on a treadmill and had tied her dog to one of machine’s legs. “Geri was happily pounding along with her dog tied to one of the supports at the side of the treadmill,” a source told The Sun.
When the dog became agitated and frightened by the loud noises and movements of the machine, the manager asked Halliwell to leave. The furious pop star reportedly said that if her dog was not welcome she would not be coming back to the gym.
“She was told rules were rules and that dogs are not allowed, and that was the last time she was seen in the gym,” the source told The Sun.
