Tori Spelling Names B&B After her Pug

Actress’s new inn, named after her dog, will be the home for her new reality TV series.

Actress Tori Spelling has named her new bed-and-breakfast, Chateau La Rue, after her Pug, Mimi La Rue.

Spelling had some help naming the business, which she owns with husband Dean McDermott. The name of the inn, which will be featured in a new Oxygen reality series based on the couple called “Tori & Dean: Inn Love,” came from submissions to Oxygen’s recent online contest to name the Fallbrook, Calif., property. The winning name came from Sarah Riggs of Calif.

Scheduled to premiere March 20, the six-episode series will document the couple’s efforts as they take on the responsibilities of running the bed-and-breakfast and prepare for the birth of their first baby.

Spelling’s baby, a boy, is due soon after the show’s premiere, said Oxygen publicist Chelsea Hettrick, as she gave a tour of the modernized inn, which featured black and white walls, red leather couches, and other lounge-like decorations.

Spelling said she and her husband got the idea for running a bed-and-breakfast after they stayed at one for the first time while filming a movie in Ottawa, Canada. Instead of chintz and dry scones, Spelling wanted to put a modern take on the cottage hospitality business with hip decor and star-studded happy hours.

“Tori & Dean: Inn Love” premieres Tuesday, March 20th at 10:30pm ET/PT on Oxygen.

I think it's great that Tori and her husband love their pug so much to name the inn after her. I just hope the inn will be pet friendly.
