Someone broke into the humane society overnight and took Cameron, a puppy that needs medical attention, humane society officials said. During the break-in at the humane society, 60 cats escaped, NBC 30 (Connecticut) reports.

Dogs Believed Poisoned by Bread Alone
A solitary loaf of bread doused with antifreeze may be the single source of poison that killed two dogs and left four others very ill, Toronto police say. The soggy blob of whole-wheat bread, leaving a metre-wide radius of dead plants indicating its harmful chemical components, was planted off a walkway near where all six of the stricken dogs passed at some point last weekend, Globe and Mail (Canada) reports.
