Two Suspended After Family Dog Euthanized at Shelter
Two Denton, Texas, animal shelter workers have been suspended without pay after a dog was mistakenly euthanized there. The city had picked up a 3-year-old Labrador Retriever mix who escaped from his owners’ yard. By the time the owners came to claim the dog, it was too late, The Associated Press reports.
