Watsonville Eyes Dangerous Dog Regulations
Watsonville, Calif., is looking at putting a tighter leash on dogs deemed dangerous. The City Council will consider the definition of a vicious dog and requirements for specific breeds such as pit bulls or Rottweilers. The issue arose after two dogs escaped from their yards in June, killed five cats, and frightened neighbors, the San Jose (Calif.) Mercury News reports.
