Sunny’s disposition is as bright and friendly as her name, students at Sacred Heart Parish School learned Thursday. Debbie Eaglebarger, shelter manager of Second Chance Pet Rescue, brought the 3-year-old Pit Bull to the school to teach them about the importance of spaying and neutering pets, proper pet ownership and safety around dogs. She also taught them about dogfighting and, using Sunny as her example, that Pit Bulls actually make perfect pets despite an unfair reputation, the Red Bluff (Calif.) Daily News reports.
