Animal lovers are invited to attend the Young Friends of the ASPCA’s annual benefit for the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals.
The Shaggy Dog gala is scheduled for Thursday, Oct. 16, from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m. in New York City at The IAC Building, 555 West 18th St.
Honorary Chairperson Katie Lee Joel, the wife of musician Billy Joel, will host the event, which will feature designs by Ed Libby & Co., music by DJ Berrie, cocktails, and a silent auction. ASPCA dogs will be available for adoption.
Amanda Hearst, Gillian Hearst Simonds, Dylan Lauren, Lake Bell, Thom Filicia, Lorenzo Borghese, Maggie Rizer, Adam Lippes, and cast members of Bravo’s reality TV show, “The Real Housewives of New York City,” are among the guests scheduled to attend.
Tickets start at $160. Proceeds benefit the ASPCA.
