An event set to take place in the heart of Beverly Hills will spotlight orphaned dogs in an effort to find them homes in time for the holiday season. The 3rd Annual Bow Wow Beverly Hills kicks off with a doggie fashion show, a silent auction, and cocktail reception.
Hosted by no-kill animal rescue and shelter The Amanda Foundation, Beverly Hills Design & Life Magazine, and Two Rodeo luxury boutiques, restaurants, and salons, the five-day event features a four-day adoption drive with a goal of placing as many dogs as possible into homes, according to Teri Austin, the foundation’s president. “Bow Wow Beverly Hills enables us to make a big impact on that front just before the holiday season,” Austin said.
The adoptable pooches will be modeling the latest in dog fashion trends for the public. Members of the community, including Beverly Hills firefighters, police officers, and dignitaries get to walk the dogs down a green runway designed to resemble grass, event planners said.
The event takes place Nov. 19 to 23 at Two Rodeo along N. Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills, CA 90210.
