Conn. High Court Backs Vet Clinic in New Canaan
The Connecticut Supreme Court ruled in favor of veterinarians who want to set up a clinic in New Canaan. Neighbors next to the planned site of the clinic claimed the town’s zoning board was wrong to conclude that a clinic treating animals is allowed under zoning regulations, The Associated Press reports.

Berkeley Humane Society to Stop Vet Service

84 Chihuahuas Rescued From Home
Animal shelters in Georgetown and Stanton, Del., were caring Saturday for 84 longhaired Chihuahuas and 11 cats that SPCA officers rescued from a home near Laurel. The Chihuahuas taken from the ranch home included one who was giving birth when animal control officers entered late Friday, and another that gave birth Thursday, the Delaware News Journal reports.
