Teri Hatcher Adopts American Bulldog

Teri Hatcher is talking about the new male in her life — a rescued American Bulldog named Jack.

“I got a new dog,” the “Desperate Housewives” star told Access Hollywood. “I got an American Bulldog named Jack I rescued. He’s not a big shedder,” she added. “But he does snore. I have to wear earplugs when he sleeps with me.”

Hatcher said she opted for a new dog over a fourth cat. “My daughter wanted me to get another cat,” she said. “I said, ‘Honey, we can’t have four cats, then I’m like the crazy single lady with all the cats.’ And she goes, ‘No, Mom, that’s five. Five is when you become the crazy single cat lady.’”

Hatcher also has two other dogs, a bunny, two birds, and a horse — some of them rescues.

“I can’t say no,” Hatcher said.
