Gibson, the world’s tallest dog, made an appearance at Unleashed, a 50,000-square-foot indoor
dog park in Dallas, Texas, for the recent debut of ForeverLawn’s K9Grass.
Dubbed by the Albuquerque, N.M.-based company as the “big dog” of all dog park projects, the job called for 30,000 square feet of K9Grass for the play area at Unleashed. Gibson, a Great Dane who serves as the official spokesdog for ForeverLawn, made it to the grand opening March 28.

If Gibson could speak, he’d talk about how K9Grass is the artificial grass designed specifically for dogs. Speaking for the spokesdog, Ken Karmie of ForeverLawn said the K9Grass has three key features that make the product unique: knitted backing that provides immediate drainage, odor-fighting antimicrobials, and increased density that makes it easy to pick up waste.
Cody Acree, owner of the indoor dog park, said he chose to go with K9Grass because of its drainage system, an important factor for a large facility. “Also, the antimicrobial feature is key as we’ll have hundreds of dogs visiting Unleashed,” he said.
