The Cornell University College of Veterinary Medicine will host its first ever “Pedal for Pets” on Saturday, May 2.
The bike-a-thon, organized by the Student Chapter of the American Veterinary Medical Association, will benefit the Cornell University Hospital for Animals.
Pedal for Pets will feature two options for adult riders: a 33-mile route with only a couple of hills and a 53-mile route for a bigger challenge. Younger family members can participate at the junior bike-a-thon, which includes relay races, obstacle courses, interactive games, bike safety and pet information.
Registration for the ride begins at 9 a.m. in parking lot B on the Cornell University campus.
