Cat-Dog Duo Takes Top Prize in Photo Contest

German Shepherd Dog and cat win $5,000 in Pledge’s “Show Off Your Shedder” contest.

Ace, a 5-year-old German Shepherd Dog, and Buster, a 9-year-old cat, have been chosen as the winners in the “Show Off Your Shedder” photo contest. Ace and Buster, who live in Berkley, Mich., beat out thousands of entries to win the grand prize – $5,000 and a year’s supply of Pledge Fabric Sweeper for Pet Hair.

The runners-up are Sammy, a yellow Labrador Retriever from Port St. Lucie, Fla., and Hugo and Sadie, Beagles from Cleveland Heights, Ohio. Runners-up receive a year’s supply of Pledge Fabric Sweeper for Pet Hair.

The “Show Off Your Shedder” photo contest was sponsored by SC Johnson’s new Pledge Fabric Sweeper for Pet Hair. Owners were asked to submit photos of their pets relaxing on furniture. Winners were chosen based on several factors, including creativity, inspiration and adherence to the theme.

According to Kelly Samrau, vice president of global public affairs and communication for SC Johnson, pets are part of the family. This contest was a celebration of pets and their adoring owners.
