The third annual Thank Your Vet for a Healthy Pet contest, conducted by the Morris Animal Foundation, ends Aug. 31.
The contest honors America’s veterinarians for their dedication to helping animals and strengthening the bonds people have with their pets.
To nominate their vets, dog owners must submit a short essay before August 31 about what makes their vet the best in the country. By November 1, a panel of judges will select one national winner and five regional winners who will be honored at the January 2010 North American Veterinary Conference in Orlando, Fla.
The winners will also be featured in the January 2010 issues of Veterinary Practice News, Dog Fancy and Cat Fancy magazines.
