Package of Texas Pot Didn’t Fool Drug Dog
A Lincoln, Neb., teenager has been sentenced to three years of probation for accepting a package containing more than 16 pounds of marijuana mailed to him from Texas. A Nebraska State Patrol dog smelled the drugs during an inspection of a package at an Omaha post office, The Associated Press reports.

Ag Dept. Revokes License of Pennsylvania Dog Kennel
The Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture has revoked the license of a large central Pennsylvania dog kennel for violating a consumer fraud agreement. Special Deputy Agriculture Secretary Jessie Smith says the license of CC Pets LLC has been revoked. She says the state pulled the license because of a suspension related to the 2005 settlement. , The Associated Press reports.
