The official first family portrait of the Obamas taken at the White House by famed photographer Annie Leibovitz was released last week. But where’s first dog Bo?
A lot of people have asked that question, Leibovitz told Katie Couric at Tuesday’s Women’s Conference in Long Beach, Calif. “I was critiqued,” Leibovitz laughed, noting that people have said, “Where’s Bo?” She added, “They’re taking another photograph that does have Bo in it.”
Couric suggested, “Maybe you could Photoshop Bo in?”
Uh, no, not so fast, Leibovitz responded. “You’re not allowed to do that with White House photos.”
The first family portrait was taken by Leibovitz at the White House on Sept. 1. The photograph shows a relaxed President Obama sitting happily with wife Michelle and daughters Malia and Sasha in the Green Room of the White House.
