Police Dog Recovering After Inhaling Meth
A Ventura County Sheriff's Department police dog is recovering at a veterinary clinic after he apparently inhaled some loose methamphetamine during a drug search. Officials say Balu, a 4½-year-old German Shepherd Dog, was in stable condition and was being treated for ingestion of methamphetamine, The Associated Press reports.
