Hospice Dog Kept Working During Old Age
As a therapy dog, Baxter comforted hundreds of hospice patients in their final hours. This year, old age caught up with Baxter. The Chow-Golden Retriever lost much of his body fur and use of his legs, so his owner Melissa Joseph made him a special red wagon that she pulled from door to door so he could visit hospice patients, The Associated Press reports.

I really enjoyed the article about the dog helping save the boy that is allergic to peanuts! All of the articles are good. Some are very sad ,like the one about the dog killed in the line of duty. Totally senceless death as for the reason he had to be there, but I guess that is their duty.
