Kelly Osbourne Gets Dog for Her Birthday

Sid, a black Pomeranian, is a gift from parents Sharon and Ozzy.

Dog lover Kelly Osbourne’s birthday wish has come true: She’s the proud owner of a new dog, a gift from parents Sharon and Ozzy Osbourne during a celebration to mark Kelly’s 25th birthday.

Osbourne told her Twitter followers: “OK are you guys ready to see what I got for my birthday from my mum and dad? He is called Sid!”

Sid, a black Pomeranian, is already proving to be a bit high maintenance.

“If I want to put it on the floor, I have to put it in the playpen because the dog is that small,” she says. “It’s the size of a one dollar bill! I’m so excited.”

Osbourne celebrated her birthday at hotspot H.Wood in Los Angeles with fiancé Luke Worrall and 150 guests after competing on a particularly tough “Dancing with the Stars.” Osbourne had burst into tears during rehearsals prior to the show and said she was “losing my mind.”

Please rescue a senior dog. There are many pomeranians at rescue groups waiting for someone to give them a loving home. Senior dogs are much easier to raise than a puppy you will have to train for 3 years.

If Kay is wanting Pomeranians, why doesn't she contact a rescue group or try her local animal shelter. They are actually very easy to find.
