Crew Sent to Rescue Up To 100 Dogs
The Oregon Humane Society on Tuesday sent a team to rescue as many as 100 dogs living without shelter in cold weather on rural property in Eastern Oregon. Some of the dogs are living underground in holes covered with planks, while others are chained to farm equipment and have little or no shelter, The Associated Press reports.

Officials in Palm Beach County, Fla., said 50 dogs were seized from an area dog breeder after he allegedly failed to comply with a judge's order. James Marinakis of Boca Raton, Fla., allegedly ignored a judge's order to have all of his dogs spayed or neutered, United Press International reports.
